The Value of Exploration
Written by: Colby Brown

When shooting in a beautiful country like Iceland, it is easy to just focus on the iconic locations. However stepping off the beaten path, you give yourself the opportunity to find unique and create scenes that may or may not have been documented before.

This image was taken about 30 minutes past the incredible Barnafoss waterfall. My colleagues and myself ended up missing the turn off on the road we were on and while we were attempting to turn around, this amazing river presented itself.

Be willing to get lost and explore the unknown. Don’t just stick to the guide book.
