Photography Tips // Simplifying Your Compositions
As a photographer it is easy it get overly excited about a beautiful landscape scene. The problem is that most people will attempt to capture everything, which has a tendency to over complicate an image.
Next time you are out shooting landscape photography, try to actively simplify your compositions. This photo of Botany Bay in South Carolina involved a wide angle lens used in the vertical orientation to single out these two loan trees battling the ocean surf at sunset.
Androidography // Epic Sunrise at Botany Bay
I have wanted to visit the Botany Bay region of South Carolina ever since I saw images of these amazing trees. After having just spent 4 days shooting in the area with my good friend Peyton Hale , I can tell you that I can’t wait to get back to this amazing and unique coast line.
It will take months before I have time to edit my professional images, so in the mean time enjoy this shot taken with my Galaxy S3.

If you ever visit Charleston, South Carolina…you might want to stop by the famous Angel Oak tree just outside of the city. The tree is massive and is said to be around 1500 years old, making it one of the oldest Oak trees in the country.
